Jayne Mansfield was one of the most visible Hollywood stars of the 1950s and 1960s. Trained in performing arts, she rose to fame under contract with 20th Century Fox, appearing in films such as The Girl Can’t Help It. A media rival of Marilyn Monroe, she worked in comedy, drama, Broadway productions, and cabaret. Her public persona became a cultural symbol, blending sensuality and self-promotion. Mansfield’s influence extended beyond her career, leaving a lasting legacy despite her early death in 1967.
