Bob Odenkirk returns as Hutch Mansell, the seemingly unassuming family man with deadly precision, now anchored by the tagline: “No one ruins his vacation.” The sequel ups the ante with fiercer violence and deeper emotional stakes, weaving in social critiques on systemic corruption, trial by social media, and the failures of justice—all without losing the kinetic, bone-crunching intensity that defined the first film.

With Indonesian action auteur Timo Tjahjanto taking over as director, "Nobody 2" injects the franchise with an intensified visual energy. His signature long takes, rapid-fire editing, and brutal melee choreography push the action further than the first installment, while the sequel trades the original’s cold color palette for brighter colors and sunlit compositions, using its visuals to explore themes of personal redemption.

Back in 2021, a sleeper hit got released called NOBODY. Nobody expected this to do as well as it did. It took a generally funny man Bob Odenkirk and turned him into an unexpecting badass action hero. It was a great take on the typical dynamic of “family man with a secret murderous job”. Now, as with most things these days, there’s a sequel called, you guessed it, NOBODY 2. After the events of the first one, Hutch (Bob Odenkirk) is forced to work for The Barber (Colin Salmon) to pay off his debt. Feeling physically and mentally drained, he goes on vacation with his family, desperately trying to make some new memories. They go to a small rundown theme park, where his father (Christopher Lloyd) took him and his brother (RZA) when they were kids. Think NATIONAL LAMPOON’S VACATION meets JOHN WICK meets HOME ALONE. This being a sequel, the “newness” of the concept gets kind of stale in the latter half of the movie, but it makes up for it with very fun and violent action scenes. The music definitely adds to the fun also. There’s nothing new that is learned about the protagonist, but Odenkirk is just SO great in this. The rest of the cast is good too. Christopher Lloyd is under-used, but Sharon Stone has the time of her life just hamming it up on screen. If you enjoyed the original (which I can’t find for free anywhere at the moment), then you’ll have fun with this one. Remember, if you discover an undercover crime ring while on vacation, you better call Saul.

Ligera y entretenida. Más cómica que la primera, con villanos de pésima puntería y héroes inmortales. La incorporación de más elementos familiares a la trama la mejoró aún más.

Un despropósito de película que a ratos divierte. Algunas situaciones son extraídas de la primera parte y en esta trama siguen funcionando. Su historia será mala, pero la acción está a la par de la primera entrega.

Nadie 2, secuela interesante. Mantiene la esencia de la primera. Buenas escenas de acción, buenas actuaciones, tiene momentos de risas. La mezcla de acción y comedia funciona bien. Buen acierto de la película su duración; el tiempo es acorde con lo que se desarrolla. Hay papeles secundarios muy buenos. La escena de acción final muy buena.
