cosme_spaceDecember 10, 2024Woody Allen has managed to make films that feel like soap operas about urban relationships for decades, and honestly, you’ve got to respect that kind of dedication.

Oscar-dDecember 10, 2024
Oscar-dDecember 10, 2024It feels pretty average compared to Woody Allen's other works. But seeing him walk the red carpet, supported by someone, made me realize how old he is at 87. Despite this, he has kept his creative talent, passion, and unique insight into life and the world for nearly a lifetime. With over 50 works under his belt, he remains an essential part of film history, a true gift to the world.

Is0mvánApril 19, 2024This film maintains Woody Allen’s signature comfort and high-density dialogue, while also embracing the gray tones and humor that define his style. This story has chance and necessity, while interwoven with his unique brand of intimate romance. Those who aren't fans might find his style somewhat repetitive, always exploring similar themes. However, the director's consistent film style complements his distinct approach. With his prolific output, he has undeniably reached the pinnacle of success in his distinctive way. Woody Allen is no longer just a name; he has become a symbol, wouldn't you agree?

GilyipApril 19, 2024It slightly exceeds expectations. While there aren't any groundbreaking visual innovations, Woody Allen, as the scriptwriter of this film, still displays his talent by cleverly presenting this hilariously absurd romantic comedy. The film delivers surprises in both humor and suspense, particularly in the latter part. Overall, it may not be revolutionary, but it's well-crafted. Woody Allen is just an ordinary person who could fade away at any moment, just like anyone else, but his exceptional works have the privilege of lingering for a while and making an impact.

Lm-MiguelApril 19, 2024Honestly, this movie was a real disappointment, unlike Woody Allen's usual stuff. He's done similar themes before, but this film falls flat, with shallow characters, a thin plot, and no real excitement. Without Allen's name attached, I doubt anyone would bother watching it. But still, I don't want to think this is the finale of his career.

Sônia-1April 19, 2024
Sônia-1April 19, 2024Woody Allen casually strolls through the streets of Paris, skillfully capturing the everyday moments between men and women with his clever use of long takes. He lets the characters freely chat about the ordinary aspects of married life while infusing it with strangeness and irony towards those "vanished" occurrences. He effectively portrays the calculated absurdity of those orchestrating the disappearances, all while using a cool color palette and injecting humor into the character portrayals. He sprinkles jokes and criticisms throughout the film, resulting in plenty of laughter.

4saxonApril 19, 2024The plot's kinda like those old Woody Allen movies, all tangled up in a love triangle. Woody Allen probably loves the ending, but for me, it just kinda fizzles out; there's no natural closure. The cinematography gives fall-time Paris this warm, golden retro feel. Plus, I was really into how Woody Allen played with colors and the actors' movements. He keeps Jean in this gray area, showing he's kinda shady. In scenes with Jean and Fanny chatting, Fanny is always in bright colors while Jean goes for darker shades.
