Awesome

Cool concept, but I was left feeling disappointed. The ending just didn't do it for me. Plus, with all the angles they could have gone for with a movie about a modern American civil war, this felt like they left some options on the table. Too bad. But I'm sure some people will really dig it.

I don't know if the strangest thing is that Texas wants to ally with California, or that Californians understand something about Texans.

This story is super unique; it's like a mix of fiction and reality that's really creepy. It makes you think about how things in the real world are divided and gives you this chilling feeling that the truth and conflicts are right there, just out of reach. The war reporter in the movie has her own reasons for being there, and she has to do whatever it takes to survive. And even though the gunfights are intense, they don't really stand out compared to all the deep stuff you're thinking about. This is definitely a movie that makes you think.

The movie's first half is kind of slow-paced, making it hard for me to stay awake and pay attention. I get that the creators wanted to show their ideas through a different type of media and make it feel like a documentary, but it just ends up dull. It feels like a political road trip movie trying to hide what it really is.

The director focuses on "being there" and capturing it all by making the main character a journalist and giving the movie a road trip vibe. And the playful music that kicks in right after someone gets killed mocks the absurdity of war. The journalist's camera offers us a fresh perspective on things; some epic scenes really keep the movie engaging.

I was really looking forward to this film about documentary photography. The director was smart to avoid talking about heavy stuff like race, human rights, and democracy and instead focused on this young girl who wants to be a war photographer. The way the movie shows people dying, it's like they're animals, and it gives you this really eerie feeling of coldness and sadness. And the photos in the film just make it even more intense.

Many people probably watched this movie expecting it to be a big Hollywood action flick, but they were perhaps disappointed because it's a bit slow-paced. But that doesn't mean it's a bad movie. For me, especially, it's a film that's worth taking the time to appreciate, even after watching it once.

This movie is like a road trip movie about a war reporter documenting a civil war. But it's not about the war correspondent's bravery or job; it's more about their conditions. In "Civil War," the characters aren't the main focus; it's more about showing what it's like to be there in the midst of war.

This movie takes on a journalist's perspective and has a road trip-like vibe. It showcases a post-apocalyptic landscape caused by war and incorporates elements of a documentary into its storytelling. However, the civil war aspect feels more like a gimmick, and ultimately, the film becomes an extension of a meaningless fantasy. As a satirical sci-fi war film, it doesn't delve into politics or allegory at its core, which is clearly disappointing.

Initially, I thought this movie would solely focus on war, but it's not. There aren't too many battle scenes; instead, it delves more into personal perspectives while keeping the reasons behind the war and many details hidden. At times, it even feels more like a road trip film. Maybe there are things I didn't fully grasp while watching, but the movie effectively captures the chaos of war and the distortion of human nature.
