This movie is like a gorgeous portrait of Italian life, giving you a genuine feel of daily life in Naples, all seen through the lens of one specific person's experiences. Fabietto Schisa's coming-of-age story is really heartwarming. Even though the narrative jumps around a bit, it all ties together beautifully. The visuals are breathtaking, and the pace is very easy to follow. It's like stepping back in time to a world where love and heartache were all that mattered. It's a really artistic and emotionally charged movie.

"The Hand of God" takes you deep into both Fabietto Schisa's complicated feelings and the real world around him. It shows how his family and friends, who are just regular people with flaws but each with their own uniqueness, help him figure out who he is and influence the way he sees the world. By the end, you'll see how Fabietto takes all these life lessons and makes them his own in his real life.

This nostalgic film, directed by an Italian middle-aged filmmaker, is set in 1980s Naples and talks about Maradona's transfer and the "Hand of God" incident. It beautifully captures the romantic and passionate essence of the Italian people, with lively characters and rich details that showcasing the youth's journey into adulthood and their dreams. It also tenderly portrays family dynamics and teenage experiences with a touch of warmth. All in all, this film is definitely worth watching and reflecting on.

I wasn't a fan of Paolo Sorrentino's movies before, but this one has changed my perspective. This film is incredibly sincere, showing his deepest emotions and precious memories. It's truly admirable how he bares his soul, exposing his most tender and vulnerable side without any pretense, and shares it with the audience. Maybe this is a crucial creative journey that every writer and director should go through at least once in their careers, and I believe it’d definitely leave them feeling enriched and satisfied. Anyway, the music in this film complements the emotions so well, appearing at just the right moments and maintaining a sense of restraint.

Although it may not reach the level of Fellini's theatrical artistry, this film blends everyday life with nostalgia and mixes the raw with the sacred in a manner that resonates genuinely with the audience. The ridiculous moments from the movie's first half evolve into poignant scenes in the latter half. That shift emphasizes the passage from innocence to experience, the unexpected twists of maturing, and the wistful nostalgia for the past. "Do you know how many stories there are in this city?" This film provides the answer.
