Ph1977April 5, 2024Worthy of an Oscar nod for Best Animation, the film challenges stereotypes that shape our interactions and expectations of others. It advocates for authenticity, suggesting that even in adversity, we have the power to assign meaning to our experiences, thus controlling our mental states.

ÂngeloApril 5, 2024The animation is smooth, especially in Nimona's transformations and battle scenes. However, the adaptation has succumbed to clichéd Americanizations, diluting the original's essence with unnecessary melodrama. Fans of the source material might find it disappointing, but the screenplay transforms it into a modern queer fairy tale.
