Captain.DJune 19, 2025It plays at times like a Dior showcase, but its message holds up: everyone deserves to pursue beauty. Mrs. Harris doesn’t want luxury—she wants a dress that makes her feel beautiful and joyful. The film subtly critiques how brands should evolve from exclusivity to inclusivity, reflecting a more democratic era of fashion.

catarina_June 16, 2025The film sets up its protagonist’s world in just five minutes with minimal dialogue and clean transitions, then gradually unfolds a story that avoids clichés while staying true to the seeds it plants early on. It’s a graceful celebration of middle-aged female charm told with warmth and clarity.

YesYeahSíJanuary 4, 2023A love letter to all the ordinary good people
The movie is a love letter to all the ordinary good people. However, the movie and the TV drama "Emily in Paris" series share the same story core, especially at the end of the movie, there is a scene, Ada Harris went to a Dior store, the whole scene made me roll my eyes. It was intolerable. But it's hard to score low the movie as well, especially when you see some of these great actors in the movie, and the tone of the movie was just beautiful and retro.

A Sra.
