F9: The Fast Saga (2021)★ 6.4/10

Insanely dumb and expensive car chasing action movie

I'd thought it was an action film, but the face-off at the beginning made me thought it was a war movie, before it seemingly transitioned into a sci-fi film at the middle. The indestructible protagonist is just like an anime character. At the end, the film ultimately reveals itself as a film about familial bonds.

The aim of extensively using flashbacks was to imbue the film with the original street racing spirit of the series, but it ends up resembling a knock-off film on racing. If Vin Diesel is concerned about his waning box office draw, he might consider playing a stereotypical American general in a nationalist Chinese film, although it certainly won't be any worse than his performance in this movie.

Along with Justin Lin's return, the series' second hero, screenwriter Chris Morgan, is out. Justin Lin has started to make the story more justifiable and has shown more concern for character development, evidenced by his serious approach to directing the film. Though the script is well thought out, it doesn't mean it's not far-fetched. The action scenes are a mess, and the much-anticipated car chases simply look like a kid's playtime. It's uncreative, not thrilling, and overly long. I'm curious to see how Justin Lin will direct the next one.

No matter how many more films they make in this series, it will always be my favorite. The plot might be far-fetched and cliché, but each one benchmarks its era in the movie industry and pushes the limits of creativity in action movies. Aren't we all just living vicariously through films? Seeing that familiar shade of blue at the end is enough to bring tears to my eyes. He's always there, at least always in the hearts of his fans.

The characters in this series are almost like Superman, invincible and indestructible, becoming literally superheroes. The movie is full of explosions and plot holes, with a childish storyline and no depth. "Furious 7" is the best conclusion - it's nostalgic, poetic, and has substance. "Fate of the Furious" and "F9: The Fast Saga" are purely brainless films made solely for profit and they're simply embarrassing.

Another movie? I won’t stop watching this saga because I love the characters, but since the fourth movie they have nothing new to show. The movies are always more of the same. They should conclude it now.

Amo toda la franquicia solo puedo decir que son las mejores películas que he visto

si estuvo buena esta secuela numero 9. son excelentes actores. solo que la ficcion es enorme , jajaja. e increible. me gusta por la adrenalina que te genera ver esas carreras y las situaciones tan locas.

Excelente como siempre, una saga que promete cada año entretenernos con acrobacias y velocidad sin límites.
