Fast X (2023)★ 7.2/10

This film is packed with exhilarating action, immersing the audience in the excitement of extreme speeding. The plot is tight and fast-paced, with thrilling chases and fight scenes. From Los Angeles to Tokyo, from the deserts to the beaches, the constantly changing scenery showcases diverse locales, adding to the film's appeal.

Fast X undoubtedly is the peak of the series in terms of visual effects and action sequences. The car chases, explosions, and pursuits are intensely thrilling and visually stunning. The film captures the essence of speed and adrenaline be it on the streets or in the air.

"Fast X" totally surpassed my expectations! I'm a big fan of this director's skills, artistry, and his ability to infuse fun into the film. The action scenes featuring Vin Diesel are even more over-the-top than before, and the young actors absolutely steal the show with their adorable performances. The actresses are incredibly charming; Michelle Rodriguez remains as cool as ever, and the Portuguese-speaking racer has a unique allure. Gal Gadot's appearance is almost surreal; she looks absolutely stunning! And let's not forget about Meadow Walker, Paul Walker's daughter, who makes a cameo as a flight attendant.

The start was just okay, but it picked up as it went along. They really put some thought into the highlights in the latter part. As the first half of the final chapter, this movie did a good job of bringing the characters together. However, Momoa isn't quite the right fit for the villain role, which is also one of the weaker aspects of the whole film.

As the grand finale of the series, they really gave it their all, bringing back all the characters to play on that nostalgia, whether it's necessary or not. The problem is, the whole film kind of falls apart because there are just too many characters, and each of them feels like they're there just for the sake of it. Maybe the real issue is that they've made too many films, and the films are getting more and more over-the-top, yet somehow still feel lacking in freshness. Basically, it's been harder to really satisfy the audience. So, it's time to bid farewell, but do we really need three parts to do that?

The very souls of Fast and Furious, Gal Gadot and The Rock, are back; the most macho man in the universe, Jason Momoa’s crazy villain is a bonus, and the star-studded cast is bursting with testosterone. This is beyond satisfying! The film is here to show the audience how to subvert Newtonian mechanics with various rule-defying car chases, and driving directly down a dam is a spectacle that shakes the audience to the core. The film is densely packed with thrilling content, the scenes are all of high quality, the pace is tight, and the characters are three-dimensional. It's simply the king of popcorn movies.
