Adalyn_HartmanJune 6, 2024The film excels in action scenes and special effects, showcasing Black Adam's immense power through stunning slow-motion and lightning effects. However, the narrative logic becomes flimsy, and the details are not entirely convincing. Nevertheless, as a popcorn movie, it's still entertaining. The Easter egg at the end makes me look forward to the sequel.

Jour_deJune 6, 2024Overall, this film is enjoyable enough as a standard Hollywood blockbuster, with a familiar plot formula. The fight scenes are exceptional, and the director cleverly uses slow-motion shots to enhance the combat sequences. The fight inside the room is particularly impressive.

Bobbie_StoneJune 6, 2024It's mediocre. It feels unnatural to have the mother and son drive the entire plot. Black Adam's transformation also seems too arbitrary as he's easily convinced by a few lines of dialogue. While complex plots might not be necessary in most popcorn movies, they should at least try to be convincing, right? Pierce Brosnan is still charming and steals the show despite his limited screen time. And I'm surprised to see Henry Cavill making an appearance.

Alicia_CombsJune 6, 2024"Black Adam" offers a fast-paced plot and nonstop action sequences, utilizing a traditional yet effective narrative style. Honestly, Dwayne Johnson is undoubtedly the perfect choice to play Black Adam. He really dominates every thrilling fight scene in the film, and his character's motivation is compelling. As an action-packed thriller, it successfully achieves its impressive action sequences without compromising character development or storyline. Of course, the movie has some flaws, the most notable one being Black Adam's lack of apparent weaknesses, which makes the character seem a bit too overpowered and uninteresting.

Cesar_SmallMay 31, 2024To be honest, I didn't have high expectations for this movie, and sure enough, the plot falls into the realm of corniness. The visual effects are overly exaggerated, especially with some still and slow-motion shots looking like they were generated by AI. The action scenes seem never-ending, and the character portrayals are not convincing. However, this movie aims purely to entertain. Despite the formulaic plot, Dr. Fate stands out because he's the only character with an emotional growth arc.

Alia_ReyesMay 31, 2024Overall, it's pretty average. I might have given it a 6 out of 10 in the past, but looking back at some of the other superhero movies, I'd give it an 8. The use of magic by Dr. Fate seems much more extensive and profound than that of Doctor Stephen Strange in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” There are a few flaws, but they are not big problems.

Carlee_StevensMay 31, 2024The action is thrilling and satisfying on a visceral level. The visual effects can be either hit or miss. The character development is passable, but the introduction of certain characters feels rushed, failing to fully engage the audience. Additionally, the interactions between characters feel somewhat awkward. The plot emphasizes heroism excessively, resulting in a tedious and thin storyline. The only standouts are the clear characterization of Black Adam and the Easter egg at the end!

Matthew_WashingtonMay 31, 2024
Matthew_WashingtonMay 31, 2024The plot is incredibly clichéd, with many parts being downright foolish. Having a nearly invincible character only weakens the suspense of the "last-minute rescue" and fails to excite the audience. The fight scenes are purely a showcase of special effects, and sure, the special effects are well-crafted. The destruction of various elements of the Justice League during the battle between Black Adam and Hawkman pays homage to "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly." The Easter egg at the end is one of the few highlights.

Bertram_NashMay 31, 2024
Bertram_NashMay 31, 2024The "Game of Thrones" series boasts many characters with intricate relationships. Eight Seasons could never fully capture the extent of power struggles and complex emotions. However, the biggest drawback of "Game of Thrones" lies in its failure to delve into the character's inner thoughts; this series manages to make up for that. In many aspects, this show surpasses "Game of Thrones," particularly in terms of visual effects and the pacing of the storytelling. I'm genuinely surprised. However, the casting choices for this show could have been better.
