The best cinematography seen in years. Great performances by both actors. The story is like a nightmare, open to the viewer's interpretation. One of the movies of 2020 without a doubt. Enjoy every moment of it.

Filmed entirely in black and white, “The Lighthouse” generates an ominous atmosphere as it leads us into madness. You should better watch this film with the lights on.

Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s works and filmed in black and white, "The Lighthouse" is not an ordinary horror movie. Its psychedelic imagery and strong performances position it as one of the best movies of 2019.
