What’s deformed is human nature, not appearance. The so-called humanitarian care in the film is disgustingly hypocritical! Sometimes it’s impossible to tell whether this “compassion” is condescending pity or a charity tinged with arrogance—we’re left with no choice but to accept it all.

After watching the film, I can’t help but feeling helpless: his only tragedy is that he is truly human.
