The ironic and heartbreaking "saga" of a spoiled tomato: from a "Nisei" (Brazilian of Japanese origin) plantation to a supermarket; to a consumer's kitchen as pork sauce; to the garbage can when spoiled; to a garbage dump on "Ilha das Flores"; to selection as pig feed; to becoming food for poor Brazilians.
