Bert_WigginsJuly 10, 2025Unlike most Disney princess tales, here the prince thinks he has to save the princess—but she’s dead sure she doesn’t need rescuing. And that beautiful long hair? I still can’t get it out of my head. Out of all of Disney’s heroines, she’s my favorite—her beauty is passionate, genuine, and absolutely unforgettable.

Vicente_BrooksJuly 10, 2025This story feels like a romantic fantasy that Disney cast over a tragic chapter of Western history. Sure, it comes from a good place, but you can’t just “let it go” when it comes to real events—that’s exactly why we study history. The only real standout? The soundtrack.

theohoratioJanuary 13, 2025The attempt to make the character proportions more realistic ends up making their movements stiff and less visually appealing compared to more stylized designs. The story draws from historical events surrounding the discovery of the New World, but its themes of cultural conflict might not resonate well with younger audiences, who are the primary demographic for animation.

SuperDCM+January 10, 2025
SuperDCM+January 10, 2025This is quintessential Disney—characters bursting into song, love at first sight, charming animal sidekicks, and a grotesquely greedy villain. However, it leans heavily on idealism. The protagonists effortlessly overcome a language barrier, and with a heartfelt plea, the chief abandons his war plans. Suddenly, the British sailors and Native Americans call a truce. The ending—where the injured hero sails back to England while the heroine stays behind—offers a rare break from Disney conventions.

A trilha sonora.
