This is a sci-fi thriller with a storyline that shifts between past, present, and future, easily confusing viewers with its non-linear narrative. Director Terry Gilliam focuses more on thought-provoking scenes rather than action scenes, leaving much for the audience to ponder. Brad Pitt's portrayal of a manic mental patient is incredibly convincing, showcasing his impressive acting skills.

Another film about a virus destroying the world, but its aim isn't to save it. Instead, it uses time travel to depict the inevitability of global destruction, highlighting humanity's arrogance and consequently missing good opportunities. Despite the protagonist's repeated travels and warnings, others refuse to listen to advice beyond their acceptance. The unique presence of the female lead further emphasizes the general indifference of most people.

Travel through time to stop a virus

This science fiction masterpiece shows a post-apocalyptic future where a virus destroyed humanity. In addition, it is one of the best time travel movies ever made.

Surrealism and time travel

This film addresses the theme of the end of the world from a surreal perspective, typical Terry Gilliam’s work. Time travel and madness enrich the experience in terms of the theme.
