The Mummy Returns (2001)★ 6.7/10

A very fun movie with Brendan Fraser. Oh, the nostalgia.

Although in the history of cinema there are hundreds of examples of unnecessary and disappointing sequels, this is not one of them. It is true that, even though it repeats director and cast, this sequel is more 'stylized' and less terrifying than the previous one, it is also just as exciting as an adventure and keeps its spark and humor.

Definitely knew how to ride the hype and ingeniously wrote the script with very cool additions to the story and kept the whole thing going, a real plus.

Following the events of "The Mummy", this new movie delves even more into the shadows of Egyptian mythology to invite us to join a new adventure full of magic and fantasy.
