It's a bit childish overall, but that's okay. Just imagine what a real-life princess without Disney magic would be like. She would probably be just like this, right? I watched this princess movie without overthinking or seeking artistic depth, and it felt sweet and dreamy. Anne Hathaway is beautiful and a bit amateurish in this movie, but that's totally okay!

It was an absolutely magnificent film in 2001. Even watching it now, it doesn't feel outdated at all. The story setting is spot-on, focusing on realism rather than superficiality. Anne Hathaway is excellent, and the actress who plays the grandmother is still incredibly elegant. Overall, this movie is definitely still worth watching.

The cinematography and lighting have truly incredible vintage aesthetics. The pacing is kinda slow. Despite Anne Hathaway's effort in portraying the young and energetic lady, the elegant grandmother stands out way more.

Anne Hathaway still had room for improvement in her acting when she was involved in this movie, but she has always had a special presence on the big screen. Additionally, the supporting actors delivered solid performances, even though most of them were newcomers. They clearly put in a lot of effort, maybe even a bit over the top, but that's not a big deal. I mean, it's a comedy, right? And we can't forget the standout roles of the queen and the bodyguard, as they genuinely shine in their acting skills and presence!

I had heard about this movie before, but after watching it, I realized it's the dumbest movie I've seen this year. The only thing worth praising throughout the film is Anne Hathaway's beauty and charm. The second half of the plot is embarrassingly bad.

This movie is perfect for teenagers to watch, not only because of the stunning costumes and fantastical storyline but also because it portrays a girl's growth. She starts by rejecting her princess identity, then becomes intrigued by it while neglecting her friends in the process. However, she eventually learns to become a responsible princess. This story is truly inspiring.

A perfect movie to watch with your grandma

Although it is a movie just to have fun, it shows a funny relationship between a grandmother and her granddaughter that come from completely different sociocultural backgrounds.

Definitivamente ainda vale a pena assistir.
