I gotta say, the plot of this movie is a bit silly and pretty cliche. It feels kinda fake and surface-level, and then it suddenly shifts to being all about ideals, which is a bit of a jarring transition. But it's got some good-looking girls, and it moves at a quick pace. Still, the whole thing is like a mouthful of pop candy, all exploding at once. It's exciting, but not really something you'll remember for long.

This is a real joy to watch. The characters are really well-portrayed like they could be real high school students. And even though there aren't many hilarious moments, everyone is spot-on and makes you laugh as teenagers figure themselves out when growing up, which is something you don't see often in most coming-of-age films.

Having not seen the original, I still found the movie enjoyable. I could see why it's hugely popular in America, as none of the characters are truly "mean girls" in the traditional sense. Each main character is only superficially bad; the fact that this film manages to delve deeply into this topic is pretty surprising for a popcorn movie.

Twenty years after its original release, Mean Girls remains a beloved for many, with adaptations like a musical and rumored sequels keeping its legacy alive. Renée Rapp stands out in this 2024 version (though the muscial elements are somewhat cringe to watch). More screen time for her could have made the film more engaging.

Quite amusing! It presents a high school life that is very different from that in China—more lively and fun. Though the plot doesn’t have major highlights, the girls are truly attractive and seem to lead joyful, fun-filled lives.

While the plot is a bit contrived, the film's generally quite good, capturing the superficial friendliness and underlying competitiveness and jealousy among girls very accurately.

why is this the most quotable movie of all time? It is a classic! I don't care if it's a guilty pleasure, it's funny and twisted in equal measure. find yourself someone who loves you the same way the bus drivers in this film love speeding in school zones.

A classic of 'teen' cinema, Mean Girls is one of those movies that I love to go back to and find new layers of meaning, with its sharp and tremendously intelligent humour, thanks to Tina Fey's script and its versatile cast, making it an iconic comedy. So fetch!

She doesn't even go here!

Hilarious, extremely quotable, timeless pop culture source of references of a movie. Tina Fey really did it for me with this one, a must-watch in binges of every context, seriously.
