The ensemble cast and intertwining storylines are delightful. My favorite subplot is the writer and the Portuguese maid, which feels the most romantic, while the troubled marriage is the most realistic, and the actors filming a porno provide the most humor. The aging rock star and his manager share the deepest bond.

dingDillonMarch 9, 2024Richard Curtis really knows how to make romantic comedies, and I think this movie has become a Christmas classic for a lot of folks. It weaves together the stories of different people in a bunch of intersecting plotlines. Personally, I found the part about the writer and the Portuguese housekeeper to be the most romantic, the "Enough Now" part to be the most touching, the part about the couple dealing with their marriage crisis to be the most real, the side story about the adult film actor to be the most intriguing, and the part about the old rock star and his manager to be the most heartfelt.

The little boy that loses his mother is depressed all day long, his stepfather does not know how to comfort him. When he learned that his stepson liked the most beautiful girl in school, he warmly encouraged his son to pursue her. In order to win the attention of the little girl, the little boy practiced the drum set so that he could perform with her at the Christmas party. He even broke through the airport security area smartly for a final farewell.
The mother of two children faced a marriage crisis. Her husband had an emotional affair.She found an excuse to hide in the bedroom in a hurry and sobbed in the song. Turning around, he laughed exaggeratedly and met the happy face of his beloved son. The husband finally came to his senses.

ElilashDecember 29, 2024Mucha realidad manifestada en cortas escenas. Pocas escenas ilusorias, pero siempre son necesarias. Una película donde muchos son protagonistas, en la que cada uno tenía su trama y en la que te emocionas un poco con cada historia. Soy fans de cualquier película de Liam Neeson y de verdad, está me gustó.

O filme tece histórias de pessoas diferentes em um monte de enredos que se cruzam. Pessoalmente, achei a parte do escritor e da governanta portuguesa a mais romântica, a parte do "Agora chega" a mais comovente, a parte do casal lidando com a crise conjugal a mais real, a história paralela sobre o ator de cinema adulto a mais intrigante, e a parte sobre o velho astro do rock e seu empresário a mais sincera.

Entrelaza las historias de diferentes personas en un montón de tramas cruzadas. Personalmente, la parte del escritor y el ama de llaves portuguesa es la más romántica. En segundo lugar, la parte de "basta ya" es la más conmovedora. En tercer lugar, la parte en la que la pareja lidia con su crisis matrimonial es la más real. En cuarto lugar, la historia paralela del actor de películas es la más interesante y finalmente, la parte de la antigua estrella de rock y su manager es la más sentida.
