Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)★ 8.2/10

This movie marks the beginning of the "Pirates of the Caribbean Universe." Depp truly brings the character to life, and at the same time, this charming, quirky, and fearless pirate character is a perfect role for him to shine. The humorous storyline is conclusive, and the main characters are well-defined: Will Turner is kind and determined, Elizabeth is a natural-born adventurer, and the antagonist, Barbossa, is clever yet fiercely loyal to the pirate code. Hans Zimmer's soundtrack is exhilarating and timeless.

When Sparrow first shows up, the theme music peaks to mark his arrival. But for me, the moment the movie takes off is when Sparrow makes his first escape, grabbing onto the rope and swinging like he's on a swing. It's an enjoyable watching experience all the way till the end.

Let me tell you a little story: A little girl wrote to Johnny Depp, hoping that he would take his subordinates to the school to eradicate the principal, so Johnny Depp called the school and asked the school to bring the students to the auditorium. At this time, Johnny Depp brought the cast to the stage, all the students were busted to cheers. Well, I love such touching stories.

Disney invites us to a world full of darkness, fantasy and salty water in its new sea saga "Pirates of the Caribbean", where we can learn about one of the most interesting ship collection of cinema.

It seems incredible that this film was based on a Disney's park attraction. Johnny Depp’s memorable performance as Jack Sparrow is one of the greatest acting contributions of his entire career.

The first "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie is an introduction to the most original characters of the last decades. Johnny Depp’s charismatic performance of Jack Sparrow is unique and memorable.

es buena

buena

O filme marca o início do “Universo Piratas do Caribe”.
