What a scene – Brad Pitt rescuing the world from voracious zombies will forever be a cinematic gem. The initial act is truly flawless; the unease and fear that grip you as the apocalypse unfolds are unparalleled.

I used to like this movie very much. But it lacks any good real tension besides the very old cliche of the ¨hero saves the world¨ again. And when I got to know the premise of the book it was based on... Damn, what a missed opportunity.

A new global epidemic

Based on the novel of the same title, this movie explores in detail the expansion of a zombie epidemic from scientific and sociological points of view.

An interesting approach to the zombie world

“World War Z” stands out from the rest of zombie movies for its detailed explanation of the monstrous transformation process that a human being undergoes when bitten by one of these creatures.
