The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)★ 8.1/10

Intense, vibrant, fun film, great script, great performances, great direction.

The film's tone and style are inconsistent, fluctuating between being dark and romantic. Such a lengthy film lacking in detail and narrative coherence comes off as disjointed. DiCaprio has lost the youthful look in his eyes, which makes him ill-suited for the role, while his performance is also overshadowed by supporting actors.

Expecting a corporate drama, I was surprised to find a highly entertaining biopic instead. Leonardo DiCaprio's performance is exceptionally compelling, easily evoking audience's empathy. However, despite the film's visual impact, it lacks nuanced portrayal. After three hours of hedonistic extravagance, I left the cinema without any lasting memories. What a pity.

O filme é baseado em uma história real e Dicaprio interpretou com êxito um inteligente corretor da bolsa de valores, que era também um golpista e não tinha limites.

Leonardo DiCaprio grants us a frenetic and visceral performance in "The Wolf of Wall Street", the movie about con man Jordan Belfort as seen from Martin Scorsese’s crazy lens.

Leonardo DiCaprio invites us to a world of parties and excesses in "The Wolf of Wall Street", movie based on the real story of one of the most profitable fraud organizations in United States.

Meet one of the most important hustlers in American history with this Scorsese’s masterpiece. Leonardo DiCaprio’s performance will always be remembered.

Filled with humor, excess and disregard for the law, the story of con man Jordan Belfort is magnificently narrated thanks to the cinematic mastery of Martin Scorsese.

Jordan Belfort went down in history as one of the most despicable financial criminals. You can get to see his reckless life thanks to Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio’s outstanding portrayal.

One of the best Martin Scorsese films is also one of the most real and insane Wall Street stories. Based on real events, Jordan Belfort leads a life full of party, frenzy and a lot of illegality.

muy buena
