Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010)★ 7.8/10

I love this one so much. I like that it was split into two parts because I think it's really worth it to see Harry and the whole army preparing for war, dealing with the trio's personal issues and all that. It reflects the book really well, and I think the trio reached their peak performance here.

This is the most emotionally rich film in the series. The franchise no longer focuses solely on showcasing magical special effects. In this installment, the director successfully balances storytelling, emotion, and visual effects, delivering a high-quality drama grounded by an emotional core. Some viewers may be disappointed due to misplaced expectations, but in my opinion, this is the best film so far, as it sticks most closely to the novel, flaws notwithstanding.

People unfamiliar with the books may be confused by the many characters' names. The tone gets increasingly dark, and the film is just one endless hunt. That being said, the pacing is controlled well, despite a slightly draggy middle section. The sporadic humor always manages to elicit laughter from the entire theater, especially Harry and Hermione's dance in the tent. On a side note, the shadow puppetry used to portray the Deathly Hallows fairy tale is particularly intriguing.

We have donated so much money for Harry Potter in a blink of an eye. As we grow up, the male and female protagonists are entangled. In the end, this episode has a good foundation and several thrilling climaxes, and I am fully looking forward to the last one next year.

The first part of the two final movies of the Harry Potter saga is also one of the most powerful in terms of performances and technical richness. A movie without an ending, but that is worth watching.

es muy buena pelicula

Sombrio e sóbrio. Consciente de seu próprio tom, esse filme é um caso particular na franquia. Um filme bem delicado e muito bom! Gosto do tempo mais intimista que passamos com os personagens aqui. O filme só sofre com a falta de material, por conta da divisão em duas partes, que acaba deixando o último ato com um gostinho de que faltou algo. De resto, excelente.

Esta es la película más emocionalmente abundante de la saga. La franquicia ya no se enfoca solamente en mostrar efectos especiales mágicos. En esta entrega, el director equilibra emocionalmente la narrativa, la emoción y los efectos visuales, lo que presenta un drama de alta calidad con un núcleo emocional. Puede que decepcione a algunos espectadores debido a sus expectativas equivocadas, pero en mi opinión, esta es la mejor película hasta ahora ya que es la que más se parece a la novela, a pesar de sus defectos.

Las personas que no conocen los libros podrían confundirse con los nombres de los personajes. El tono se vuelve cada vez más oscuro y la película es una simple cacería sin fin. Pero el ritmo está bien controlado, a pesar de una sección media un poco lenta. El humor esporádico siempre logra hacer reír a todo el cine, en especial el baile de Harry y Hermione en la carpa. Además, las marionetas sombreadas que se usan para contar el cuento de hadas de las reliquias de la muerte son particularmente interesantes.
