To be honest, I admire Stephenie Meyer’s storytelling audacity. She took an incredibly simple, uneventful story and spun it into four massive books. The fourth installment, with its three basic scenarios, is stretched into two parts, resulting in excruciatingly slow pacing. Watching it tested my patience.

It was never ideal to split "Breaking Dawn" into two films, yet this adaptation fares slightly better than expected (though still lackluster). While the movie drags with tedious scenes, the OST remains a highlight. Jacob’s character is notably more developed here, which I genuinely appreciated.

Without a doubt, this is my favorite Twilight movie. I really like how they deal with Bella living on the edge. I could feel her discomfort of being pregnant and having Edward’s baby, and also the sadness of having to leave her life, friends and family behind. It was painful and intense, but necessary if she wanted to live forever with her husband and daughter.

La cuarta entrega, con sus tres escenarios básicos, se extiende en dos partes, lo que resulta en un ritmo insoportablemente lento. Verla puso a prueba mi paciencia.

Nunca me pareció la mejor idea dividir Amanecer en dos películas, pero esta adaptación es algo mejor de lo esperado (aunque sigue siendo mediocre). Mientras que la película se alarga con escenas tediosas, la BSO sigue siendo un punto culminante. El personaje de Jacob está notablemente más desarrollado aquí, lo que realmente aprecié.

Nunca foi ideal dividir Amanhecer em dois filmes, mas esta adaptação se sai um pouco melhor do que o esperado (embora ainda sem brilho). Enquanto o filme se arrasta com cenas tediosas, a trilha sonora continua sendo um destaque. O personagem de Jacob é notavelmente mais desenvolvido aqui, o que eu gostei muito.
