David Fincher is a true master of this genre. The film is gripping, informative, and full of twists that keep you hooked. The editing is tight, the soundtrack is on point, and Rooney Mara’s performance is as captivating as those abstract shots in the beginning. As someone who hasn’t read the original book, I was really impressed with this adaptation.

I’ve always loved this story, and I loved the Swedish version. The way multiple storylines are intertwined, yet still independent, really stood out to me. When it comes to David Fincher’s take, he focuses a lot on character development, and I think the extra really adds depth to the female lead’s character. Overall, the lead didn’t disappoint, and neither did the director.

All of the movies directed by David Fincher are such a delight in clinical visuals and engaging stories. And it annoys me that this didn't turn into a franchise like he and his crew originally planned.

Fincher's darkness

Directed by David Fincher and starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, this intriguing mystery and investigation story is one of the darkest production of Fincher's filmography.

A edição é bem feita, a trilha sonora é excelente e o desempenho de Rooney Mara é tão cativante quanto aquelas imagens abstratas no início.
