Without Michael Bay at the helm, the film’s comedic elements lack the natural flow of the previous installments, the action scenes are uninspired, and the story drags on. It feels like a rehash of "Gemini Man," and with both leads now being elderly, the energy just isn’t there. The ending hints at a potential fourth installment, but if that happens, they’d better bring Michael Bay back to direct.

At two hours, the film is overly long, and the humor between the two leads falls flat, with Martin Lawrence especially dragging things down. His character, now a grandfather, has lost his edge, becoming overly cautious after settling into a perfect family life. By the midway point, I found myself thoroughly annoyed by his character, and his attempts at deadpan humor were painfully awkward.

Even though this movie has a clichéd plot, it's still a thrill to watch. Some scenes remind me of the intensity and excitement of "Fast & Furious," and others have a sci-fi touch similar to "Gemini Man." Yeah, it's got some violent, sexual innuendos and gore that might make some people uncomfortable. However, overall, it could still become one of those action films that sticks in your mind.

This movie's storyline is so conventional and clichéd that even the great chemistry between Will Smith and Martin Lawrence can't save it. The plot is all over the place, and the pacing and action sequences just don't mesh well. Some of the action scenes are decent, but others are kind of meh. And the story feels like a boring, uneventful diary entry. Relying on nostalgia to revive a commercial film franchise doesn't always work, as it definitely fell flat this time.

This movie is the third instalment to the "Bad Boys" franchise. It was not directed by Michael Bay, but it still gives a nod to the earlier ones. However, the humor and action aren't as good as in the first one. The plot is kind of clichéd, with revenge, the come-back story, and father-son reunions. However, it's got some modern design elements and sets up the possibility for more sequels.

This film is a classic commercial thrill ride, which is basically good. The pacing and soundtrack are spot-on, but the plot, well, let's just say it's not really the main attraction. It's got that old-school Hong Kong movie vibe where you don't have to think too hard and can just sit back and enjoy the adrenaline rush of gunfights, chases, and all the excitement. As part of the rebooted 80s-90s franchises, it brings back nostalgia from my era, which is why I really dig it.

Surprisingly, the third movie in the series is the best one yet. It stays true to the franchise's style, with a mix of intense and lighthearted action sequences. The overall quality is way better than the first two. If you're a fan, you won't be disappointed. But it's a bit too long, and some scenes can get a little dull because they stick to the typical popcorn movie formula. But overall, it's a fun watch, especially when Will Smith gets to shine in this movie.

This movie's two-hour runtime feels like it goes on for ages. And the humor between the main characters just falls flat. It's like they're trying too hard to be funny, but it just comes off as awkward. The action scenes are the only thing that keeps me engaged, but even those are kind of dull and draggy. The script is boring, and there's not enough payoff for all the build-up. But at least the final showdown saves it a bit. Still, considering how epic and intense this series started, it kind of just fizzled out abruptly at the climax of this movie. It disappointed me, especially since I had such high hopes for this series.

An explosive duo

As in the others, the best aspect of this movie is the interaction among actors, who bring back the funny and exciting dynamics that made the Bad Boys saga a classic of action movies.
