It's definitely an audiovisual experience

La primer película fue mejor

While the technical aspects are undoubtedly top-tier, the storyline falls flat. The high frame rate and 3D presentation set a new standard in visual effects, but no matter how visually stunning it is, that excitement only lasts for a short while. After that, sitting through nearly three hours of a shallow plot becomes unbearable. From character development to plot structure and the climactic battle, everything feels like a downgrade from the first film. If you’re here for the visuals, give it a try, but if you care about the narrative, skip it.

Watching this on the big screen is a true audio-visual experience—the oceanic visuals are outstanding. James Cameron’s environmental themes are omnipresent, and he even recycles the characters from the first film. The plot itself isn’t groundbreaking, as it’s clearly laying the groundwork for the third movie.

This film is visually stunning. It simply has to be seen on the biggest screen possible in 3D. That's the best way to enjoy this film. The story is one that most people can get behind, and it's enhanced by the visual storytelling on screen. I haven't looked at the film in detail, because so much happened and it was so visually engulfing. I'm not saying the story is perfect but the 3 hour+ runtime helped flesh out all of the characters and give the story depth and weight that you only really get with TV series these days. Honestly, there could be a few plot holes, but I don't really care. I'm probably gonna see this movie 3 or 4 more times at least in IMAX even if it means I'm broke. It's just one of those films that is just breathtaking.

This movie exceeds all the CGI anyone can possibly expect, but the storyline fails to overwhelm the audience. I’d say 70% of the film is about family bonding and descriptions of culture on Pandora. Had it been on Discovery or Nat Geo, it’d have been awesome. But that’s not what people going in to watch the movie would want to see in a 3-hour movie. The action starts out at the beginning and in the end with a detailed description of the life of the Na'vi comprising the major chunk of the film in the middle. Personally, I was unable to sit through the movie in one go. Finished it in 3 sittings while skipping through many scenes I felt were totally unnecessary.

Great effects but lacked any depth in the storyline, was entirely predictable and a bit corny.
