Into the Woods (2014)★ 6.6/10

This film boasts exceptional performances, with notable standouts including Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep, and Anna Kendrick. I appreciate the concept of this Stephen Sondheim musical, offering a dark and cynical perspective on iconic fairy tales while intertwining beloved characters within the same world.

Telling several stories at the same time, this film invites us to an enchanted forest full of music, darkness and the classic Disney heroism, together with an exclusive cast of stars.

This is one of the most ambitious Disney musicals, since they try to combine many classic tales in the same movie. Despite its long duration, it is a fun and scary movie.
