Ariella_CarterSeptember 2, 2024This movie is like a mirror, reflecting how everyone is struggling with life's challenges, be it struggling to find fulfilment in their job, make their family happy, or seek solace in the theatre as an escape. In love, some people give their all but receive nothing in return, while others are loved, but their hearts are elsewhere. Finding comfort can be tough - it's like a luxury out of reach. But even though there are several long shots, the director undoubtedly does an awesome job keeping things engaging, so it never feels dull.

Angelique_CookeSeptember 2, 2024This story focuses on the creator's dilemma, which jumps between real life and make-believe. The actors are amazing, and the comedy is well-executed. The movie uses drum beats in a really smart way to keep the story going, and the ending is strong and memorable. I was totally into it.

Lincoln_MurrayJune 23, 2024It offers a viewing experience like no other. Its use of long, uncut interactive shots, the breaking of the fourth wall, and the incorporation of magical realism are all truly awe-inspiring. The background music in real-life scenes and the film's lighting and colors are particularly captivating. By delving deep into the life and story of a washed-up actor, this movie portrays 'life as a play and a play as life' in a surreal and bizarre way. This unique theme may have a niche appeal, but it undeniably leaves a lasting impression on its viewers.

Brylee_WrightJune 23, 2024This movie incorporates super long takes, catchy drum beats, innovative camera angles, impeccable special effects, and quirky dialogue to heighten its impact. It's based on Raymond Carver's novel -- a magical realism approach showcasing the madness both on and off the stage, with explosive performances from the talented cast. The script flows smoothly and cohesively, sometimes blurring the line between a stage play and a movie. It's the kind of film that gets you hyped up. It is hands down the most exhilarating film I've seen recently.

Annmarie_AtkinsonApril 5, 2024It's somewhat challenging to immerse oneself fully, sharing a similarity with Black Swan in its frenzied, surreal pursuit of art and freedom. I have great respect for the director's vision and intent, though the genre doesn't quite appeal to me.

Frank Ronald H FrancoSeptember 8, 2025Ingeniosa, trepidante y estimulante .
