This is a textbook example of a Hollywood blockbuster. "Star Wars: Episode IX" crams in every possible Hollywood trope, resulting in a film that is dreadfully ordinary. The characters’ actions are entirely predictable, and they serve as mere plot devices, leaving the story devoid of any real surprises. The good guys inevitably win, the bad guys predictably lose, and the main characters are, of course, invincible. The film leaves the audience with nothing but boredom.

The film is brimming with nostalgia, and it’s clear the director went out of his way to give the old characters more screen time. Palpatine’s return serves as the film’s central thread, while Han Solo’s appearance marks a significant turning point. Characters like Chewbacca and C-3PO, who were less prominent in "Star Wars: Episode VII" and "Star Wars: Episode VIII," finally get more attention. Luke, Leia, and Han Solo’s stories may have ended, but the Skywalker saga is far from over—it’s only just begun.

J.J. Abrams' directing style is really precise and polished, but it's also kind of predictable and doesn't offer any surprises. Disney's experiments with the first two films were controversial, radical, and a bit of a mess, and they showed that this trilogy just doesn't have the same level of creativity or depth as the original trilogy, even though they made a ton of money. The only good thing is the Reylo love story, but it's so short that it just leaves me wanting more.

This movie tries to make up for past mistakes by piling on setups and nostalgia, but it just doesn't work. The lack of emotional build-up makes the nostalgic scenes feel flat and forced. The cinematography is great, as usual, but the messy script ruins the whole experience. Overall, it's okay.

Even though this film has its flaws, when I think about the whole saga, I can't help but feel moved by the heroes' determination and the sacrifices they make for what's right. They deserve a happy ending, and so does the Star Wars franchise. But anyway, it's still amazing how nostalgia made me so emotional.

If you're not a huge Star Wars fan, this movie might feel like a bunch of cool special effects with nothing else. But even with all the amazing visuals, the story drags and doesn't keep you engaged. These days, special effects are so common that it's hard to get excited about a movie that relies solely on it without a solid story to back it up. I'm glad I watched this at home instead of in the theater.

The movie is fast-paced and visually stunning, but I'm not a fan. It's stuck in this old-school concept of bloodline, and the villain is just bland, like we've seen this character before. Star Wars: The Last Jedi tried to shake things up and give the franchise a fresh perspective, but this movie relies too much on the tried-and-true elements. And when you consider the whole saga of nine films, the sequel trilogy just seems unnecessary.

This film feels stuck in a nostalgia loop, trying to relive the past with all these reunions and sentimental moments. But it just doesn't work that well. The plot rushes along like it is in a hurry to wrap everything up. And it's confusing because it feels like it's just repeating the original trilogy, making you wonder what the point of this new series is.

This movie is packed with nostalgia, and the director made sure to give the older characters time to shine. Sheev Palpatine's comeback is like the main plot point, and Han Solo's appearance is a big moment that changes the story. In the end, Rey puts Luke Skywalker and Leia's lightsabers on Tatooine, where Anakin and Luke were born. It's like a symbol that everything started and ended there. But the Skywalker story isn't over – it's just the beginning of a new chapter.

Grand finale

I waited for 9 movies to know how it would end and I couldn’t be happier. This movie has a lot of action and plot twists. The conclusion the Skywalkers deserves!

Disappointing

Contains spoilers
I’m one of those guys who liked episodes 7 and 8, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, this movie didn’t meet them. The plot is confusing and the twist everyone was waiting for, aka who is Rey’s father, was poor. And the icing on the cake: they decided to make Rey and Kylo Ren a couple instead of Finn and Poe. The long waited final episode was disappointing, at least

An unexpected villain

The film shows the journey of the heroine Rey that turned her into a powerful Jedi and led her to fight against the most dangerous enemy in the galaxy, the legendary villain Darth Sidious.
