LLLLLÚCIO@MJuly 31, 2025The plot twists feel much more forced, and the pacing and story control can’t hold a candle to the original director. Were it not for that final tear-jerker song, I would have been totally let down by the series.

Joshua_VanceJuly 31, 2025The first film still crackled with youthful energy and boasted a killer soundtrack. But the sequel is nothing but noise. Germany utterly obliterates America in the finale—how is that even plausible? Today’s Hollywood can’t even paper over its plots.

This secuel proves everyone wrong. It managed to be funnier, more compelling, deeper and overall better than the first one.

This movie was a great surprise, it is as good as the first one. There are great songs and their final performance at the competition is amazing, Flashlight is a beautiful song and having all those women from the older generations on stage was heartwarming.
