Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016)★ 7.4/10

Definitely for those of us who miss the universe of Harry Potter, we can now immerse ourselves following the fantastic adventure of Newt Scamander in New York City. Great visuals, a great take on a spin-off-cum-prequel and we love it, nothing to hate here.

I really liked this new try for Harry Potter at the movies. The plot of this movie is based on things we already knew from the original saga, so it works as a separated story. Eddie Redmayne is as brilliant as ever, his Newt is cute, funny, relatable, powerful. The supporting cast is also incredible. The best part is learning more about magic outside England for the first time because, even though it was based on a book, the plot itself is totally new.

Although it is more focused on creatures than on wizards, this new title of the Harry Potter universe allows us learn about magic from a different point of view and it is used as never seen before in the saga.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter comes back to the big screen with "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", an adventure that presents a new and interesting group of characters, which are funny and mysterious.

Harry Potter’s magical universe returns to the big screen with "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", a movie that could have been perfect if it weren’t for Johnny Depp.
