10/10 (Amazing, watched it in a theater.) Maybe I’m biased because I thought this film handled Hispanic and Latino culture well. Maybe I’m biased towards movies centered around families because I think they always have the most interesting dynamics. Maybe this just looks like a great movie compared to the disastrous “The Flash” two months ago. All I know is that I came out of the theater with the biggest smile on my face.

Had a fun time with this. This movie has lots of heart to it. Xolo Maridueña is great as Blue Beetle and even has good chemistry with Bruna Marquezine. George Lopez is really funny. But at the end of the day, it’s a simple, generic superhero family movie. I had a good time and would recommend this. Overall good.

Great popcorn movie. Loved the "family gives you strength in life" feel!

Can't say it sucks, just not premium. It felt like the director had limited storytelling, poor aesthetics, and a poorly written story. Unable to engage throughout, the story, emotions and character relationships are very unbelievable. The whole thing is just a mess.

The film's intentional incorporation of Latino culture, as well as its emphasis on family is something rarely seen in previous Superhero movies. Yet it's also basically a very bad DC superhero movie. The superhero's powers are unappealing, and there's a lot of familiarity to be seen in him. The plot is also corny and cheesy as hell; and the hero's behavior is a bit silly, and the plot has basically no tension. Quite a boring flick.

It's been a while since I've seen a comic book adaptation that was so “pure” and didn't have a lot of cosmic baggage. The overall pacing is very quick. DC is off to a good start with this new beginning.
